Change my promax back or lose my business

We monitor our showroom from the dashboard. Now I have to click compile report 100 times a day? Desk log, leader board, and appointments are not reports that should have to be compiled. They even have their own tabs. Give me the ability to toggle the compile report on or off or switch it back. You just turned a promax lover to a promax hater. Do you hit compile report on your cars gas gauge? How about on your cars speedometer? No you don't, because that would be stupid.

We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.  We made this change to improve speed throughout ProMax.

Based on feedback from dealers, we have decided to make automatic compiling on main reports optional for each user.  This will enable you to use ProMax as you always have.

We intend to have this update posted tomorrow morning.  Thank you for your feedback!

How does an extra unnecessary click improve speed? This program is riddled with inconvenient and unnecessary clicks. It's not efficient at all for BDC people.

I should have been more clear. Many times, when a user enters a report, they aren't necessarily looking for the data that compiles automatically. They may want to filter the data, then re-compile. At times, the first compile of the report is essentially wasted time and server processing. Another example is the Manager Dashboard. If you select the Dashboard to take a look at Appointments, the Desk Log will compile first. Again, wasted time and server processing.

We made the decision to turn off auto-compiling to reduce the unnecessary server processing. We quickly realized this decision created an undesired user experience and reversed the decision.

    Thank you for the feedback!
